The LPD unlipped hardwood door blank is a solid core, FD30 fire check door blank with no edge lippings, made in large sizes for cutting down to suit your opening. It is certified to give 30 minutes of fire resistance and can be used internally or externally. It is supplied unfinished, ready to cut, finish and hang.

Fitting and care

Door blanks must be fully finished on all faces and edges before fitting, especially when used outside. LPD recommend a quality exterior finish such as Sikkens Cetol Filter 7. As a fire door, it must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where needed, a self-closer, and cut and trimmed only within the limits of its fire certification.
