We supply complete doorsets nationwide for developers, builders and contractors, from our base in Ilford, East London, including PAS 24 security-rated flat entrance doorsets in FD30 and FD60 fire ratings. With our own joinery workshop on site in Ilford, we can also make bespoke frames and doors for openings that standard sizes won't fit.

What is a doorset?
A doorset is the door, frame, hinges, locks, seals and other hardware supplied together as one unit. Because the parts are matched and tested together, a doorset performs as it was tested, which matters most for fire and security ratings. It is also quicker to install on site than putting a door, frame and ironmongery together from separate parts.
PAS 24 and Approved Document Q
Approved Document Q of the Building Regulations requires new homes in England to have doors that can resist an attempt to break in. It covers easily accessible doors, including front doors, and doors into a flat from communal areas. The usual way to meet it is a doorset tested to PAS 24, the UK security standard for doors and windows.
Flat entrance doors from a common corridor usually also need to be fire doors with smoke seals. Security and fire performance must work together. For example, any lock or hardware fitted must be covered by the doorset's fire test evidence, or the fire rating can be lost. We can help you choose doorsets that meet both requirements.
Dual certified fire doors
The Deanta fire doors and doorsets we supply are dual certified: independently certified under two third-party schemes, Certifire (certificate CF5740, operated by Warringtonfire) and Q-Mark. Each design is tested to EN 1634-1 at a UKAS-accredited laboratory, and doors are taken at random from production for ongoing audit testing to keep their certification.
A certificate and installation datasheet is available for each fire door. It covers the certification scope, permitted glazing and hardware, trimming allowances and how to install it. We can supply these with your order for your building control and fire safety records.
Clearly marked and fully traceable
Every doorset we supply carries clear certification marking, so whoever inspects it can identify the door and its fire rating straight away. We also keep the full record for each individual door on file: its specification, certification and components.
- Easier fire door inspections. Since January 2023, buildings of flats over 11 metres high must have their communal fire doors checked every three months and flat entrance doors checked every year. Clear marking and full records make those checks quicker and simpler for building managers.
- The right replacement parts. If a part wears out or a door is damaged, we can look up that exact door and supply parts that keep it within its certification, so the fire rating isn't put at risk.
- Records for the life of the building. Useful for building control sign-off, handover packs, and landlords' and managing agents' fire safety files.

Frequently asked questions
What is PAS 24?
PAS 24 is the British security standard for doorsets and windows. A PAS 24 doorset has been tested to resist common methods of forced entry, which is how most new homes meet Approved Document Q.
Do flat entrance doors need to be fire doors?
Usually, yes. A front door that opens onto a common corridor or stairwell normally needs to be a fire door with smoke seals and a self-closer. Your building control officer or fire engineer will confirm what your project needs.
Can you supply fire door certificates?
Yes. Our Deanta fire doors are dual certified under Certifire and Q-Mark, and we can supply the certificate and installation datasheet for each door with your order.
Are your doorsets Secured by Design?
Yes. The Deanta PAS 24 doorsets we supply are Secured by Design (SBD) doorsets, available in over 30 door styles.
Can you make non-standard sizes?
Yes. Odd sizes are our speciality, and our own workshop can make frames and doors to suit your openings.
