Description
See the LPD Mexicano FD30 White Primed Fire Door in our Ilford showroom, alongside over 300 other doors on display.
The Mexicano's classic cottage-style panelling has made it a long-standing favourite for bedrooms and living rooms. This version comes primed in white, ready for your top coat. It is built on a solid engineered core.
It is an FD30 fire door, giving up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame. That makes it suitable where fire doors are required, such as loft conversions, flats and doors into an integral garage. It comes in nine sizes, from 526 mm to 926 mm wide, in both imperial (1981 mm) and metric (2040 mm) heights. At 44 mm thick, it weighs between 41 kg and 63 kg depending on size. LPD allows up to 4 mm to be trimmed from the long edges and 2 mm from the short edges, and trimming beyond this may affect the fire rating. If your opening is an odd size, our workshop can make a door to fit.

Fitting and care
This door is primed. Lightly sand and apply your chosen top coat to all faces and edges after fitting. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer.
