Description

See the Mendes Orta White FD30 Primed Fire Door in our Ilford showroom, alongside over 300 other doors on display.

Four horizontal V-grooves give the Orta a simple, modern look, and its semi-solid build gives a good, weighty feel. It comes with a factory-applied white primer, ready for your top coats of paint.

As an FD30 fire door it gives up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when hung in a matching fire-rated doorset, so it is a good choice for kitchens, garages, loft conversions and flats where building regulations call for fire doors. Odd size doors are our speciality. If your opening is a non-standard size, bring us your measurements and our own joinery workshop can make a door to fit.

Key features

• White primed: ready to paint
• FD30 fire rated (30 minutes)

Fitting and care

Give the primer a light sand, then apply your top coats. Seal any cut edges straight away if you trim the door. Fire doors must be hung in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer. Do not trim beyond the manufacturer's limits, or the fire rating may be affected.

See them at our Ilford showroom: over 300 doors and over 200 handles on display, plus a large range of locks and door hardware, free parking, and odd sizes made to measure in our own workshop. Call 0208 599 0200.
