Description

See the Mendes Majestic Glazed Oak External Pair in our Ilford showroom, alongside over 300 other doors on display.

The Majestic has a strong engineered build with solid 18 mm oak lippings and a thick oak face veneer, with a raised moulding around the glass on the outside face. Supplied as a pair for wider entrances. It is supplied unfinished, ready for a good exterior stain, paint or varnish.

The glazed unit is triple glazed for good insulation. Odd size doors are our speciality, and our own joinery workshop can make frames to suit, including side panels and top lights.

Fitting and care

Mendes external timber doors must be protected from rain and direct sunlight by a porch, canopy, recess or overhang. Seal all faces and edges, including the top and bottom, with a good exterior finish before hanging, and keep the finish maintained. Rebated pairs need a rebated lock or latch. We stock external hardwood frame sets to suit.

See them at our Ilford showroom: over 300 doors and over 200 handles on display, plus a large range of locks and door hardware, free parking, and odd sizes made to measure in our own workshop. Call 0208 599 0200.
