A traditional glazed oak door with raised shaped panels and clear bevelled safety glass. It is supplied unfinished, ready for your choice of stain or varnish.

Weight and lipping

The weight of this door changes with its size. Call us on 0208 599 0200 for the exact weight and lipping width of the size you need, and we will confirm it with JB Kind.

Trimming and fitting

• Allow a fitting gap of about 2 to 3 mm on the long edges and the top edge, plus room for any floor covering.
• To reduce the height, trim equally from the top and bottom.
• To reduce the width, take a small amount from the hanging edge only. If more is needed, take it equally from both edges.
• JB Kind say the amount you can take off depends on the door's construction, so ask us before taking off more than a few millimetres.
• Seal all six faces of the door (both faces and every edge) with a solvent-based finish. JB Kind advise against water-based finishes and natural oils.

Every pane of safety glass carries a small permanent safety mark, as Building Regulations require.
