See the LPD Belize FD60 Unfinished Oak Fire Door in our Ilford showroom, alongside over 300 other doors on display.

Five slim vertical panels run the height of the Belize, giving it a clean, grooved design that works just as well in a new build as in a period home. This version comes unfinished, so you can oil, stain, varnish or paint it to match your home. It is built on a solid engineered core.

It is an FD60 fire door, giving up to 60 minutes of fire resistance when fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame. That makes it suitable where fire doors are required, such as loft conversions, flats and doors into an integral garage. It comes in two sizes, from 762 mm to 838 mm wide, all 1981 mm high. At 54 mm thick, it weighs between 41 kg and 45 kg depending on size. LPD allows up to 5 mm to be trimmed from the long edges and 5 mm from the short edges, and trimming beyond this may affect the fire rating. If your opening is an odd size, our workshop can make a door to fit.

Sizes, weights and trimming

Trimming figures are LPD's limits. Do not trim beyond them, or the fire rating may be affected.

Fitting and care

Finish all six faces, including the top and bottom edges, soon after fitting and before hanging hardware. This helps stop the timber moving. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer.
