The Belize is a popular choice for anyone who wants an oak door with a cleaner, more modern look. Five slim vertical panels run the height of the door, giving it a simple, grooved design that works just as well in a new build as it does in a period home. This version is faced in white oak veneer over a solid engineered core and comes unfinished, so you can oil, stain, varnish or paint it to match your floors and woodwork.
It is an FD30 fire door, giving up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame. That makes it the right choice where fire doors are required, such as loft conversions, flats and doors into an integral garage. It comes in seven sizes, from 610 mm to 926 mm wide, in both imperial (1981 mm) and metric (2040 mm) heights. At 44 mm thick it weighs between 30 kg and 42 kg depending on size. LPD gives no trimming allowance on this fire door, so choose the size that fits your frame. If your opening is an odd size, our workshop can make a door to fit.

Trimming figures are LPD's limits. Do not trim beyond them, or the fire rating may be affected.
Fitting and care
Finish all six faces, including the top and bottom edges, soon after fitting and before hanging hardware. This helps stop the timber moving. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer.
