The five-panel Vancouver is a popular modern design, with ladder-style centre panels. This version has a light grey laminate finish that needs no painting. It is built on a solid engineered core.

It is an FD30 fire door, giving up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame. That makes it suitable where fire doors are required, such as loft conversions, flats and doors into an integral garage. It comes in three sizes, from 686 mm to 838 mm wide, all 1981 mm high. At 44 mm thick, it weighs between 46 kg and 50 kg depending on size. LPD allows up to 13 mm to be trimmed from the long edges and 10 mm from the short edges, and trimming beyond this may affect the fire rating. If your opening is an odd size, our workshop can make a door to fit.

Sizes, weights and trimming

Trimming figures are LPD's limits. Do not trim beyond them, or the fire rating may be affected.

Fitting and care

The laminate faces need no painting or finishing. Seal any edge you trim before hanging. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer.
