The JB Kind Axis FD30 Oak Pre-finished Fire Door is a solid oak fire door. It comes pre-finished from the factory, so it is ready to hang with no sanding, staining or varnishing needed. As an FD30 fire door it gives up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when fitted correctly in a matching fire-rated doorset.

Fitting and care

Pre-finished doors should be trimmed as little as possible. If you do trim, reseal any cut edges with a suitable finish straight away. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer. Do not trim beyond the manufacturer's limits, or the fire rating may be affected.
