Description

See the LPD Mexicano Black FD30 Pre-finished Fire Door in our Ilford showroom, alongside over 300 other doors on display.

The Mexicano's classic cottage-style panelling has made it a long-standing favourite for bedrooms and living rooms. This version comes pre-finished in black, so it is ready to hang. It is built on a solid engineered core.

It is an FD30 fire door, giving up to 30 minutes of fire resistance when fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame. That makes it suitable where fire doors are required, such as loft conversions, flats and doors into an integral garage. At 44 mm thick, it weighs 50 kg. If your opening is an odd size, our workshop can make a door to fit.

Sizes, weights and trimming

Trimming figures are LPD's limits. Do not trim beyond them, or the fire rating may be affected.

Fitting and care

This door is factory finished and ready to hang. Seal any edge you trim before hanging. Fire doors must be fitted in a suitable fire-rated frame with intumescent seals, fire-rated hinges and, where required, a self-closer.

Need an odd size?

Odd size doors are our speciality. If your opening is a non-standard size, bring us your measurements and our own joinery workshop can make a door to fit.

See them at our Ilford showroom: over 300 doors and over 200 handles on display, plus a large range of locks and door hardware, free parking, and odd sizes made to measure in our own workshop. Call 0208 599 0200.
