An oak weather bar from LPD with a traditional profile, to suit period and cottage-style external doors. Fitted across the bottom of the door, it throws rainwater away from the threshold so water cannot run in underneath.

Fitting and care

Trim to the width of your door, then finish the weather bar to match the door before fitting. For external timber, LPD recommend a solvent-based microporous finish such as Sikkens Cetol Filter 7, not a water-based product.
